T.F.I FRIDAY....

17 Photo Flawless Primer; 17 Instant Glow Shimmer Brick; Topshop Sunbeam Highlighter; 17 Instant Glow Medium Bronzing Powder; Barry M Lip Paints in Marshmallow 101 & Pale Nude 154

I got that friday feeling today while out shopping and ended up having a mini makeup spree. All things I dont need as usual, but theres nothing better than new makeup. In the past Ive made the mistake of thinking the more something costs the better it is, especially with makeup. Obviously once my bank account was heading to 0 and being left with enough products to supply a village, I realised that I was so wrong! These are all new high street products I havent tried before, so Im going to try them and review them on my blog over the next week. Have you got the friday feeling? Any guilty buys?

Charity Shop Chintz

How cute is this 3 piece mini set I picked up in a charity shop yesterday! I cant walk past a charity shop without buying something I dont need, this set cost me a whole £2.50 (I know big spender). I saw something similar in a department store but it certainly wasnt a bargain price. Im no horder but I do love this old vintage style and have collected many useless pieces over the years that I love. Anyone else out there who loves a bit of charity shop chintz?

Michael Moon VS A.L.C

Every season I always follow the catwalks and look at every designer and their collection for inspiration, so far for Fall 2012 not that much has caught my eye. Although I have to say I loved A.L.C who showed the collection in february at New York Fashion week. Ive already started to take elements and make it my own, Ive been calling it the Michael Moon faze, Eastenders fans will get what I mean (last winter it was wednesday adams). I love the button up, suits and sharp style with killer stilettos and pea coats. What look would you say you are you channeling at the moment?

Busy Bee

Ive been battling with my skin since I can remember and I've tried everything from high street and premium brands to doctor prescribed skincare/tablets. The problem with my skin is its very oily and obviously that creates blemishes and bumps under the skin, mostly hormonal as I struggle there too! After years of abuse to my skin and heavy makeup I also have an uneven skin tone, as I cant seem to stop trying everything and anything! Anyway here I am again trying something new (yeah i know im a sucker for a fad...) I read about Manuka Doctor ages ago but due to high demand you can struggle to buy it depending where you live. I'm in Birmingham and things like this sell out quick here. As you can see I got the last two this morning and the boxes aren't in the best condition which doesn't help my OCD for neat and tidy things....

Manuka Doctor has become popular and is apparently used by many celebs including Victoria Beckham who has suffered with her skin like me and also Kate Middleton (as I said it is alleged not fact that they use this) Its also fronted by Millie Mackintosh from 'Made In Chelsea'. Its made from Purified Bee Venom and is said to eliminate blemishes, reduce scars and wrinkles and is great for anti-ageing. I think this is great as many anti blemish products are so harsh they don't do much good for drying or ageing skin. As I'm approaching 25 they say this is the age that you need to start tackling wrinkles so its important to me! It is a little bit pricey but you do get a good amount for your money, especially with the lotion an average moisturiser can be £30 for 50ml with this you get 150ml for £16.99 its the same with the cleanser.

As you can see there are warnings on the back DO NOT USE IF ALLERGIC TO BEE STINGS. I cant stress that enough either, I don't want anyone to read this and not take notice. It can cause serious complications, luckily (weirdly) Ive been stung before so I'm able to use it. I will review this after Ive used it for a week or two to see if there are any signs of improvement. I have high hopes for this product as the reviews were pretty good and I know people who have had the maunka honey. Have you tried this before? If so did you get good results or are you not keen on the idea of using Bee Venom on your face?

Say No To NARS?

So I've needed a new blusher for ages but I wasn't sure what to go for, they all look great but I find a lot don't go on that well on my skin. I see NARS Orgasm blush on every blog and website and being difficult and wanting to try new things I've always stayed away from it. Well until now obviously....I succumbed to the blusher craze and bought it and I have to say I am quite impressed. Although I haven't fully got the hang of the build up of colour, so I need a few goes and embarrassing trips outside where my friends/strangers laugh and point before I know I've got it right! Is this as popular as they say, do you own this blusher? or have you found a better one?

Grazing All Day Long

So a few weeks ago my friend sent me a one-off box from GRAZE. If you haven't heard of them this company design and send out snack boxes to their members every week. It promotes healthy snacking as its small controlled portions of all the things you love but shouldn't be eating!

I loved this so I signed up to get one delivered every week, it stops me from eating a whole packet of biscuits. They do all different combinations, I obviously love the chocolate ones. You can go on and rate each one so you dont get sent ones you dislike.

Its comes in the post like this so there is no need to wait for the postman to knock your door for a signature. Well worth trying a one-off box if your not sure. I think its good value for me as I spend loads on snacks instead of proper meals. Are you a 'grazer' like me? Do you have a snack you cant live without?

Granny Chic

So I thought I would post a picture of myself as I havent so far (sorry if it hurts your eyes) just thought I would show you all who it is thats rambling on here.....

As you can see Ive based my look today on my nan and probably most nans out there. I found this vintage batwing jacket in my wardrobe Ive had it for so long I forgot it. Dont you love it when you find something in your wardrobe that has been hidden away? It makes it feel like new

Well not completely granny chic......
